What is ExRen?
ExRen is a trusted rental platform for African renters, landlords and agents. You can search for a house, flat or apartment, see clearly what has been verified, know who you are dealing with, and book an inspection without wasting a day.

Which countries is ExRen available in?
ExRen launches first in Nigeria and is built for renters across Africa, with countries like Ghana and Kenya planned as it grows.

How does ExRen verify agents and landlords?
Agents and landlords submit their ID, and ExRen's team reviews it. Properties can also be verified by checking ownership or the right to let. Verified listings show a "Verified by ExRen" label with what was checked and when, and anything not yet verified is labelled "Claimed" so you always know where you stand.

How do inspections work on ExRen?
Agents and landlords set the times a property can be viewed. You pick a slot, get a confirmation and reminders, and after the visit you can say whether the property matched the listing.

Will I see all the costs before I rent?
Yes. Listings show the costs upfront, including rent, agency fee, legal fee, caution or service charge and inspection fee, so there are no surprises.

Do I need to download an app?
No. ExRen works in your phone's browser and can be installed to your home screen like an app.
